Monastery of Savina (Herceg Novi)

Savina Monastery is a monastery of the Montenegrin Primorye Metropolis of the Serbian Orthodox Church, located 2 km from the town of Herceg Novi, on the high bank of the Kotor Bay, in a dense Mediterranean forest. The monastery was named in honor of St. Sava, the first Serbian archbishop.

There are three churches in the monastery complex: the Small Assumption Church, the Great Assumption Church and the small Church of St. Sava.
